Is World Ventures a rip-off? I do not personally think so. I would like to point out that this article is for informative purposes, and the author has no intentions of discrediting or slamming World Ventures, period.
You won’t find to many companies as high caliber as World Ventures.. Based out of Dallas,Tx. and entering its 5th year in business has already made its mark on the Travel and Network Marketing industry.
World Ventures was founded by two Network Marketing powerhouses. Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue. These two leaders have personally recruited reps in excess of 100,000. They have both been responsible for generating millions of dollars in direct sales.
World Ventures development since inception has been absolutely incredible! In their first three years in business the company did 150 million in sales. In 2009, sales are expected to be close to 300 million. When you look at the state of the economy, and the worst recession since the “Great Depression”. One would have to say these numbers are astounding, especially when you look at how major corporations are fairing; GM, Ford, Chrysler and Wall Street. I think you get the drift.
World Ventures is composed of two different products. The first is Rovia, an online travel booking engine. It is like Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity. The cost is $199.95, one time fee, and a monthly fee of $19.95, for web hosting. The second product is called Dreamtrips membership. Basically it is a wholesale travel-club membership, like Costco or Sam’s Club. Dreamtrips offer hundreds of prepackaged vacations all over the world at discounted prices. Cost of this product is $199.95, one time fee, and a monthly fee of $19.95.

To become a representative in World Ventures is a one time fee of $99.95, and a monthly fee of $9.95. You can buy all three for $300.00 and $49.95 per month and your in business. World Ventures reps make money from the sale of each or all these products.
When it comes to compensation, it doesn’t get any easier than the W.V. comp plan. A very simple Binary plan. Two team strategy. A left team and a right team. All you do is sponsor one right, and sponsor one left, and keep repeating the process. Now understand that simply sponsoring a couple of reps is not going to build you a massive downline, and have you sailing around the world. What I will tell you is that from what I have heard, most of the leaders have persoanlly sponsored 30-40 reps.
I think one of the things that amazed me the most about World Ventures was its Rep training program. It is not that they lack training, because they do not. World Ventures puts on training seminars all across the country, and are hosted by some of the top leaders in the industry. What I was shocked to see was its lack of online or internet marketing training.
I had the privilege of meeting a couple of World Ventures top income earners at a weekend training event. The training and techniques that they were teaching were old school MLM recruting tactics.
1. Names List-Family and Friends
2. Hotel meetings
3. Coffee shop meetings
4. 3 Foot rule
Now do not get me wrong, some of these methods have proven to be successful for a handful, but are generally considered a inadequate approach to building a network marketing business. Let’s face it, we are in the Internet age and have been for several years. Maybe it’s time you start incorporating the Internet to build your business.
Here is the one thing I want you to draw from this article. There are a lot of good companies out there. There are a lot of bad companies out there, but if you do not learn the principles and skills necessary to building a network marketing business you are going to struggle.
I want you to think about this. Most network marketing companies give you a blueprint to build your business. That blueprint is to take out a piece of paper and write down 120 names of persons you know, and call them up. Are you kidding me!
