If you are into multi-level marketing, you should be able to know how the process of MLM prospecting works.  This process involves repeated activities that you would need to do everyday to obtain success from your MLM business.  You would have to repeat activities including generating leads, qualifying leads, presenting your business, collecting decisions, and following up.

Generating leads – This is an activity in the prospecting process in which you are obliged to do.  You have to generate the leads on your own or buy the leads from other MLM marketers.  This activity is important because if you do not have any lead, there is not one to prospect.

Qualifying leads – This is an activity in the prospecting process in which you have to qualify the leads you have generated.  This means that you only choose the leads that are most likely to join and support your network.  You only need the right persons to qualify as a legitimate lead.

Presenting your business – Once you have qualified your leads, the next activity is to present your business to your prospects.  You can do this by yourself or have it automated.

Collecting decisions – This is an activity in the prospecting process in which you collect the decisions of your prospects.  This comes after your prospects have learned or become aware of the presentation of your business.  You only have to obtain the decisions of those who are most likely to join your network.

Following up – This is an activity in the prospecting process in which you have to follow up with your prospects who are interested but prefer a call back from you.

Is This A Pyramid Scheme?

You know what? I almost bought some prime real estate in Egypt But it turned out to be a Pyramid Scheme!

If you happen to be in MLM or a Network Marketing Business, you’ll eventually get asked the question “Is this  a pyramid scheme?” How you handle it, if you do at all may decide the fate of this prospect. The type of person that asks this question, in my experience is either negative to begin with or is parroting something they heard or read someone else say and are Is This A Pyramid Scheme?simply ignorant to what they are even suggesting.

Want to shut them up quick?  When they ask you ,”Is this one of those pyramid schemes?”, You say without hesitation, “Why Yes! Yes it is! I wouldn’t be involved in it if it wasn’t”. Then give them your presentation URL and send them on their way. You’ll probably never hear from them again but that’s really what you want in this situation. Someone that starts off from a negative mindset will not last long in this business. And if they do sign up they are likely going to be very needy and will be looking for excuses to say it doesn’t work because they don’t have the same do what it takes mentality that an open minded, entrepreneurial mindset type person possesses.

It is unfortunate that most people don’t realize that the real Pyramid Scheme is the one they’ve been brainwashed into believing is the only way to make money and that is working a regular job for some big company. Do everyone have the chance, where you work, to become the CEO? Um … NO! One person has that position and he isn’t giving it up any time soon and he’s likely deciding on how much of a raise you get this year and most of these CEO’s and even department heads get bonuses for holding down raises to a minimum.

In Network Marketing or MLM everyone has the ability to be a CEO. To be successful though you must do what others in the business are doing to create success. It  may take you out of your comfort zone a bit but that is how you grow.

When talking to prospects pretend you are talking to a close family member or friend. Don’t pitch them or you will be automatically rejected. Ask them questions and let them answer. Draw them out. Find out their goals and dreams and then Simply direct them to your company presentation and follow up.

The main thing here is not to let objections throw you for a loop. My biggest mistake,  when I first started, was that I just didn’t know when to shut my pie hole and listen to my prospect. I blabbered on and on about my home business instead of listening and taking note of the persons reasons, their why,  for wanting to have their own business and addressing their concerns.

Do this and people will say no just to get rid of you. You must learn to relax and be passive and by doing so you are showing them that they don’t need to be a salesman. Guide them to an online business presentation or give a phone number for a live opportunity call or address for an online webinar that explains the business and they’ll start thinking, “Hey I can do that!”  The easier you can make it look, the more they will realize that this is not rocket science or having to pitch like a used car salesman.

If you want to become successful in your network marketing or multi-level marketing business, it would be wise to know what the top MLM companies have in common.  This would refer to the traits that top MLM companies have whether they are conducting business offline or online.

Most successful MLM companies share 3 common traits that have brought them to the top of their industries.  These include the following:

* Offering unique products in high demand – It makes sense to offer something that is unique. However, you should make sure that as much as your product is unique, it is also high in demand.  Top MLM companies usually offer products and/or services that are unique, meaning they could not be bought from somewhere else and at the same time highly demanded by many customers. 
* Providing lucrative commission plan – If you place yourself in the position of an independent sales agent, you would naturally choose a company that provides a lucrative commission plan.  This is exactly what most top MLM companies have in mind when they offer their sales people with high back-end residual and high upfront commission.  Some of these companies offer both to their sales people, which make them the top choice of independent sales agents.
* Establishing a stable lead generation and conversion system – An MLM business would not be a success without people to look and support the business.  Most top MLM companies have established their own lead generation and conversion system, which is stable enough to support their businesses.

Basic Search Engine Optimization Guide for Blogging

If you are new to online business, network marketing, and blogging, I’m sure you could use a simple Search Engine Optimization guide that could teaches you the basics of

The goal of this post is not to make you an SEO expert as that takes years, but here I’ll provide you with a simple search engine optimization guide you can follow to make your posts more search engine friendly and hopefully get you ranking higher in the search engines for your selected keywords. That is assuming you have not chosen an extremely high competition search term!

Here’s your basic Search Engine Optimization guide:
ON-PAGE OPTIMIZATION CHECKLIST:

  • Keyword in domain (if possible)
  • If not, Keyword should be in Post URL
  • Keyword must be in meta-title
  • Keyword in meta-description (preferably in the beginning)
  • Use Keyword in meta-keywords
  • Keyword in beginning of page/post title
  • H1, H2, H3 heading in body Containing keyword
  • Keyword density should be greater than 2% in post
  • Image required.  Image ALT text should have keyword phrase
  • Use “no-follow” on external links
  • Keywords in body should be emphasized with bold, italics, underline
  • Internal link with keyword to related post if possible

KEYWORD RESEARCH:

  • There should be at least several hundred searches per month using the .[Exact match] search in Google Keyword Tool External.
  • A Search in Google for “keyword” (with quotes) Keyword or phrase should have 50K or less results.
  • Do allintitle: keyword phrase search in Google : Result should be less than 10K results

Follow these Rules and your posts should rank very well and probably very quickly towards the top if you have done your keyword research carefully.

 

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is a process in which you create a post or website that is specifically established to rank in top search engines for specific keywords.

One of the most important benefits of SEO to a home business blogger is that it provides free and targeted traffic.  Today, it is very fortunate that online business owners have the option of generating free and targeted traffic through SEO in order to obtain free leads with minimum effort.  This is to say that once you apply good SEO, you are guaranteed to generate traffic for a long period.  I am still generating leads from pages I created 7 years ago and I have not touched them since they were created.

Another main benefit of SEO for your Home Business, Network Marketing or multi-level marketing business is establishing your reputation and credibility to your leads.  Owning your own blog or website, you have complete control on what content you share with your target audience.  Try to provide valuable, useable content and make people want to return for more!

You are free to post blogs, information, downloadable files, and videos among others as long as they are valuable to your audience.  However, you should make sure that all your posts are related to the product and/or service you are offering.  Always provide value whenever possible!
