So why should you listen to me? The steps I have implemented on this blog have dropped my Alexa score to 363,000 down from over 4 million 6 months ago! My Google Page Rank has also recently upgraded to 2 from a 1. Now I am a fairly lazy blogger and do maybe one or 2 posts per week so making that big of a jump in the Alexa Ranking and having an actual Google Page Rank shows that I am doing something right. In reality it is a combination of doing many little things right starting with the proper setup and configuration of this blog.

Start creating back-links from other blogs by posting valid comments to others posts. use Onlywire social bookmarking plugin and many other options which are available to those using the wordpress platform. The Goal in doing Search Engine Optimization for your site is TRAFFIC! When someone includes one of the several words which you targeted in your blog post into a Google search you want yours to be on the list of sites which comes up.

There are many variables that come directly into consideration that decide precisely where your blog is likely to come up in the listings, but everybody has to Start off somewhere.
