5 Steps To Success In Your MLM

1. Start By Choosing A MLM You Can Be Proud Of! Does your MLM have a product you are not ashamed to talk about? Get behind a company that has a solid product and a good track record as well as training and tools that anyone can use to succeed. Most good MLM companies will have ready made presentations that you can send people to so they can get the full information and see that they don’t have to be an instant expert when they start. They can simply send people to the presentation and follow up.

2. Educate yourself daily and write about what you have learned in a blog. There are tons of resources available on Network Marketing and MLM as well as internet marketing as a whole. Some great sources of information are Success Magazine, the book ‘My First Year In Network Marketing” by Mark Yarnell, and the book “The 4 hour Work Week by Tim Ferris. Set up a Blog and put your picture and your story on it so people get to know you. Post videos in your blog that your company has provided with a link to your sign up page.

3. Take Action. Use your time wisely. Make a schedule and follow it religiously. Without a schedule you will be sidetracked by the hundreds of shiny things that pass through your email or that you encounter during the course of your time online daily.

Some examples of what to do: start with doing research into a topic and blogging about it. Add calls to action where possible in your blogs. Tweet your new blog post. Post your new blog post to different social media sites using a service such as onlywire. Contact leads that you may have purchased or that opted in through your blog. Send them to your presentation. Follow up. Visit other blogs and comment on them which creates valuable back-links to your blog. The next day rinse and repeat while checking off things on the schedule as you go.

The above is just an example of a schedule. There are many things you can incorporate but just don’t burn yourself out! Schedule time for yourself as well.

4. Follow up but don’t chase. Follow up with those interested in your MLM Business and answer questions but remember if you have to chase and try to convince someone that the business is right for them, it probably isn’t. If you have to chase them to sign up you’ll be chasing them to do the work necessary for them to be successful. With some people you simply have to say “sorry I don’t think this is a good fit for you” and move on. Don’t get tied to outcomes. Many of the people you talk to won’t sign up but some will and those are the gems we want to focus our attention on helping.

5. DON’T QUIT! For once in your life follow through and make your life and your business a success. Winners never quit and quitters never win. Stop being mesmerized by every shiny new opportunity that comes down the pike! This only leads to you spending a whole lot of money on stuff you don’t need and will have you jumping from opportunity to opportunity.
