Why Do You want To Be An Entrepreneur?

When considering starting a home based business either through Affiliate Marketing or network marketing or Top tier sales ask yourself the question “why do I want to become an Entrepreneur with my own business?” Is your answer something like:

I want to be rich.
I want to drive a Porsche.
I want to get out of debt.
I want to quit my job.
I want to buy a big house.
I want to spend more time with my kids.
I want to take vacations when I want.

These are great reasons and are what most people want when starting a home business. The real question is can you stay focused enough on your why’s to work at it as if it was your job? That is what it will take for you to become successful Entrepreneur.

If you are not willing to put in the same type of time commitment into building your business as if you were punching a time clock at your job then you will struggle greatly. There are literally thousands of people out there who think they can enroll in a business and literally do nothing and think cash is just going to drop into their lap.

Now this is in a big part the fault of unethical people who work for ethical home business organizations that make a lot of false claims misleading people into thinking that you just join, the company gives you a website and You Are Going To Be FRIGGIN RICH!

This type of thing just makes me cringe because people hear it so much they actually start believing it. There are ads running especially on the TV late at night and on the Radio all the time spouting this kind of nonsense! It makes it that much harder for those of us operating in a reputable manner to get quality people who are ready to work at building their future.

that nice car and a nice house and spend more time with your kids but it is worth doing some hard work for a couple of years because compared to working 50 years for someone else!

Can you work hard at your job to the point where you can retire in a couple of years? No. You can do that realistically with a home based business. Keeping your reasons for wanting to become an entrepreneur can be a great driving force in your business.  make yourself a Dream board with pictures of places you want to visit, the house and car you would like to buy, pictures of your kids and family and every time you get lazy look at that dream board and remember why you need to work at it every day.

Your dreams are within reach. Don’t let the naysayers distract you. We’ve all been programmed from birth that we have to get a good job and work hard but we have to learn to break that programming because working for someone else will not ever give you the freedom to do what you want when you want without having to worry about what time to get up or having to schedule a vacation at a time that is not the time you want to because you don’t have seniority etc. Forget that crap!

You need to work for YOU! Set your goals now. Get in a good business. Work at marketing it every day. EVERY DAY! When you seriously attack this goal and keep at it you will start seeing more and more success.

I finally after 10 years of noodling around, got serious about six months ago. I now put in 2 to 3 hours daily and work most of the weekends at marketing my business and I am now generating daily leads and weekly sales and monthly residual income that grows more each month. You will notice that I come up in the search engines on the first page of Google for many different search terms. This is easy to do but it takes daily work. Definition Of Entrepreneur

The definition of entrepreneur to me is someone who does not trade his time for dollars working for someone else while his kids are being raised by strangers in some day care center.

The definition of entrepreneur is not having to punch a clock!

The definition of entrepreneur is having time to spend time with your kids, pick them up from school or meet them at the bus stop, help them with their homework, go to their sports events and school concerts.

The definition of entrepreneur is sitting down and eating dinner with your family every night.

The definition of entrepreneur is being able to work with the people you choose to work with.

The definition of entrepreneur is being able to get up when you want and work when you want.

The definition of entrepreneur is being able to pick up at any time and go on a vacation and not have to worry about scheduling it with a supervisor who may or may not approve it.

The definition of entrepreneur is someone who does not have to worry about the economy or how they will pay the next electric bill or the rent.

Are you at the point in your life where you have young children? It is very unfortunate these days that more people do not take the initiative and start their own business to allow them the time to experience as much as possible of their kids childhood and raise them themselves rather than having to depend on strangers at a daycare to raise and influence their children’s development.

I am in the same boat and I wish I had started much earlier! I missed much of my first son’s early years due to working long hours and some of my younger son’s early childhood for the same reason. I am now at a point where I can retire from the regular working world within the next couple of years. Becoming an entrepreneur is not easy mainly due to the lack of good guidance and an easy to follow plan in most businesses causing many to drop out long before they become successful. I floundered for years until I found the formula that works and wasted thousands of dollars.

Some of the biggest challenges in becoming an entrepreneur are that people are many times bombarded with a huge amount of things they think they need to learn before they can start to earn money with an online business. They get overwhelmed and frustrated because they try to do the things people tell them to do and they see others having great success though they are having none. They lack a simple step by step plan to follow that works and jump from idea to idea spending tons of cash on worthless marketing methods to try to get signups.

The truth is that it all comes down to just a few easy low or no cost methods done over and over again.
