Are You Still Buying Leads? (Say It Isn’t So!)

Over the last 5 to 10 years I have bought tens of thousands of leads to promote my businesses. Possibly even in the Millions. Some were OK and had a fairly good response rate. Others were terrible and made my life very stressful. There is nothing worse than cold calling leads!

Ok, so You’ve got your script, hopefully memorized and you know your business and you are following all the points that your sponsor has told you is working for him and within the
first 5 calls you have been hung up on twice, screamed at once, and twice been told that the prospect was interested but has no money to invest in starting a business.

Of course I got some people to join with me usually after several follow ups but unless you are a born sales person this is an incredibly stressful way to run a business.

Companies selling leads have their capture pages everywhere and tend to catch mostly impulse subscribers and then sell these leads to multiple people in most cases. So not only are you calling someone who has probably already been hit with 3 or 4 sales calls, they are also on the most part going to turn out to be either dead broke or just tire kickers.

It’s time for you to have people calling and emailing you instead of the other way around. Attraction marketing is a much cheaper and by far much less stressful way to build a following of people who are truly interested in what you are doing and will either call or email you for more information or just flat out sign up to be on your team or buy your products.

Attraction marketing is the way to go. It takes some time to get started and the right tools such as a blog, preferably Worpress, some research for your daily blogging, a good social Bookmarking system such as Onlywire. This can be added to your blog as a plugin allowing you to easily create back-links to your site from some of the largest Social networking sites on the internet.

One other Key ingredient is to have an Attraction Marketing and self-funded system like MLM Lead Systems PRO which not only gives your team a step by step method to duplicate your success but also to turn people who may not join your business into buyers of affiliate products in the system. The idea is to have a marketing  system that pays for itself and in many cases can earn you a  hefty profit while it promotes your primary business.

Forget the days of sitting and staring at your leads list trying to drum up the energy and the courage to try to win over those not so responsive and sometimes downright hostile people on your list.

You want people calling and emailing you because they are reading your blogs or articles. They are reading your twitter and Facebook posts and they like what they are reading. They like you because you have built a relationship with them in a passive non-confrontational manner instead of the direct call and sales pitch and close tactics of old.

There are a ton of tools out there available to us to research what is going on in any particular Niche market that we may be targeting. Tools that give you ideas for posts and Headlines and articles.

Personally I use about 10 different tools for these purposes and most of them are free.
One thing holds true if you want to be successful. You have to have the drive to succeed.
You have to give 100% effort and get on a schedule of consistently posting, tweeting, creating
new articles and making connections EVERY DAY via facebook and other social networks.
Consistent action over a sustained period will yield wonderful results and you’ll meet some great people along the way.
